Ann Walker Marchant – Founder & CEO of The Walker Marchant Group

Ann is CEO and Founder of the Walker Marchant Group (WMG), a strategic public relations and public affairs firm specializing in corporate communications, crisis communications, media relations and global issues management.

In business for almost 20 years, Ann is a recognized strategist and marketer having created and executed global campaigns that influence public opinion, impact public policy and change outcomes, mindsets and actions.

Working with elected officials and political candidates, global corporations and organizations she  aligns business goals, messaging and value propositions to promote greater awareness, engagement, activation and mobilization around global issues affecting women, girls, justice and social responsibility.

Formerly, Ann spent seven years working in the White House for President Clinton. As Special Assistant to the President for Communications Research and Special Projects, Ann was responsible for Rapid Response operations specifically around health care, trade and nominations. She worked closely on media strategy and Presidential speeches.

As a trustee for The George Washington University, Ann served on the Medical Affairs Committee, Governance Committee and Student and Academic Affairs Committees.  She is also a board member for the Trust for the National Endowment for the Humanities, and she is co-chair of Knock Out Abuse – a domestic violence organization.

Ann is mother to one daughter and one golden doodle. She lives in Washington, DC but mostly on airplanes.
