I saw an opportunity to export Ruzu Herbal Bitters, a 100% made in Nigeria, non alcoholic beverage for all encompassed body wellness of both male and female adults and children above 6 years of age to the United States of America in 2019. I grabbed the opportunity, especially with AGOA and entered into a partnership with our sister company, 50% female owned in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Our first shipment was done by air in October 2019. There after, in 2021 June, another 20 feet container arrived USA by sea. We adopted a B2C & B2B marketing strategy and have a very strong presence on e-commerce platforms of Amazon & e-bay. Our website address is ruzuproductsusa.com and our Facebook handle is ruzu ruzu. We look forward to leveraging on the AFCFTA to trade in Africa and network with female entrepreneurs on the continent soonest. Right now as our own way of giving back to society, we are involved in empowerment & mentorship, especially of female entrepreneurs, also assisting people with medical needs to overcome predicaments as far as we are able to. As an individual, I am an active member of Sanitation Implementation Unit of Team Nehemiah, one of the largest religious body, where we are currently promoting a Green Globe, to implement the goal12 of United Nations sdg.

Your JAMII Femmes adventure

My expectations were surpassed under the JAMII experience with a totally new set of tools as solution for personal, community and corporate problems; harnessing emotions, creativity, critical and design thinking, communications & collaboration amongst others to reach out to others and forge ahead. Initially my major challenge was linked to the internet connection and to the use of the training & social networking platforms but I got out of this with more hands on practice. I am now a better digital platform user, communicator and my relationship with those that work for and with me is a lot more beneficial than when I joined the training program. Above all my business has experienced a positive touch and is already soaring higher and higher. Thank you to all our Sponsors, this JAMII experience has been wonderful and impacting on me as a person and on my business.

Finally, please give us a quote about your motivation, your vision of Africa or your personal ambitions

Principle of Charity, forgive those who have offended you, pray for even those who have caused you grievous harm. Sit across the table with them, be open, talk about it, let go and let God heal you.
