Holder of a Master’s degree in Accounting, Control, and Audit from Toulouse School of Management, Binta is also a certified Chartered Accountant and Auditor from the Académie de Paris, specializing in digital currency and risk management. With over 15 years of experience, she began her career in audit firms in the Paris region, where she developed a strong expertise before joining the Accounting Department of Orange France Group in January 2013.
In 2015, she moved to Orange Côte d’Ivoire. Binta played a crucial role in the launch of the first Electronic Money Issuer of Orange Money in Côte d’Ivoire and participated in the Mobile Money Certification by GSMA. Her career also led her to hold positions such as Head of Risk Management, Internal Control, Fraud & Revenue Assurance, and Head of Internal Audit for the Orange CI Cluster, covering Liberia, Burkina Faso, and Côte d’Ivoire.
From June 2022 to 2024, she served as Chief Financial Officer for three entities of Orange in Liberia and was a Board Member of two entities. Since May 2024, she has joined Orange Democratic Republic of Congo as Director of Audit, Risk Management, and Quality.
Outside her professional responsibilities, Binta is deeply involved in mentoring women and actively supports female entrepreneurship. She is a member of the Women Investment Club (WIC-CI), which aims to boost and facilitate female investment by raising funds to invest in promising businesses.
Driven by a passion for co-construction and discovering new avenues, she aims to make a significant impact and contribute to Africa’s development, believing strongly in our ability to pave the way forward.
