On the occasion of its Women@Dior mentoring programme – accompanying a new generation of women around the world – the House is unveiling this year its first online education platform, entitled “Women Leadership & Sustainability”, around the themes of gender equality and women’s leadership for a responsible future. This initiative highlights the crucial nature of education in imagining a more sustainable and more united world. Through the exchange of knowledge, this programme will enable young women to build a better future by developing their autonomy. On the occasion of World Youth Skills Day, Dior is supporting and joining the Global Coalition for Education, founded by UNESCO, by opening its Women@Dior programme to 100 talented young women students from Niger, Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania, Jamaica, Pakistan, the Philippines and Sri Lanka. This initiative, supported for the first time by a sewing house, gives the most vulnerable female students the opportunity to receive an inclusive education. A concrete commitment, with regard to societal issues, and in the context of the global health crisis.”
