Mariam Djibo is currently Managing Director of Advans Côte d’Ivoire, one of the leading microfinance institutions in Ivory Coast with 160,000 clients served through 22 branches by 650 employees. She has nearly 25 years of professional experience in various financial and entrepreneurial businesses, including the last 12 years in private equity funds dedicated to Africa (first Emerging Capital Partners and then Adenia) where she was in charge of executing transactions in the sub-region and portfolio monitoring and was a member of several boards of directors of private companies.

Prior to that, she spent 3 years at PISAM in Abidjan in charge of financial restructuring and revitalization of the commercial policy. Prior to that, she was an Engagement Director at Arthur Andersen (now Ernest & Young) in Paris in the Transactions Department where she participated in restructuring, valuation and due diligence assignments. She started her career as a financial analyst at Butler Capital Partners, a Paris-based turnaround fund. She is a graduate of ESSEC and holds a DESCF.

Mariam Djibo is actively involved in several local and regional initiatives with a strong social impact and in favour of gender promotion.
