Head of Department RSE Orange Sonatel
As Head of relations with the digital ecosystem at Sonatel, Rokhaya Solange NDIR leads a team of project managers responsible for helping to make Sonatel a major player in the implementation of the Senegalese digital plan of 2025 and a privileged partner Start ups, incubators, enhabers . After a stint at PCCI (call center) and Mc Cann Erickson, Rokhaya Solange joined Sonatel in 2004. She is a graduate of the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Internationales in Paris and of the ISM in Dakar.
She has 14 years of experience in the field of telecommunications with Sonatel. For 10 years in the consumer marketing department, her main mission was to propose and implement a market strategy to develop usage and sales in the consumer market.
Rokhaya pilots Sonatel’s Mwomen program which aims to make digital technology a tool for economic and social involvement and empowerment of women.
In addition to her professional activities, Rokhaya has a real personal commitment to the promotion of women through associations. She is :
– Vice-president of FESTIC: association of Senegalese women in the ICT sector
– Founder of “Je consomme Made In Sénégal” which aims to participate in the promotion of “Senegalese know-how”.
– President of “SOS Langue de Barbarie” whose mission is to preserve the environment of this unique site in the world: the Langue de Barbarie located in Saint Louis, Senegal.
