Salimata Keita

Founder of CTLA Consulting

Franco-Malian, Salimata KEITA grew up in France, Bambara and French are her mother tongues. Since early childhood, she has always been connected to Africa. Passionate about transport and logistics, Salimata is a graduate of the Ecole Supérieure des Transports de Paris and holds a Master’s degree in International Logistics, Territory and Environment from the Sorbonne. In 2004, she joined the American multinational FedEx (Federal Express) based at Roissy CDG, where she began her career in the International Express Transport sector. First as a logistics assistant (supply chain), then as a key account representative for clients in the Luxury Goods and Agrobusiness industries. Her professionalism and commitment, highly appreciated by this very demanding clientele, will be the subject of numerous awards. At FedEx, in parallel with her activities in “Customer Experience”, she is involved in public relations and the company’s international development policy. Noted for her involvement at FedEx, she is integrated in the AEROTROPOLIS Europe project of which the company is a member with Aéroport De Paris, AIR France and the Communauté des Commune de Roissy and other players. In 2018, Salimata will leave FedEx. Six months later, she set up her consulting company CTLA Consulting and invested in the African continent. Through events such as Africities 2018 in Marrakech, she created a network of institutional and strategic economic operators on the African continent. Inspired by the dynamism of the Memphis Aerotropolis economic hub which she is studying in 2011 and the Beijing airport which she is visiting in 2018, she is working on the concept of “sustainable airport cities” in Africa in order to provide “inclusive” urban development solutions around airports; a subject of interest to the AfDB (African Development Bank) and for which she contributed to the organization of the Africa-France 2020 Summit. Her company offers solutions in transport infrastructure development, logistics but also project management in partnership with consulting firms. Committed to Africa in a “responsible” manner, Salimata is a member of the International Alliance for Sustainable Development Goals (AIODD).  The NGO is present in France, Switzerland and 14 African countries and aims to promote the 17 SDG’s of the United Nations 2030 agenda.
