For two years Tina served as Gender Equity Coordinator for a USAID-funded project. As such, she identified gender-based barriers and constraints to access health care services, as well as opportunities to increase gender equality throughout the project. Her seven years of engagement in managing project on reproductive health and rights for youth with International HIV AIDS Alliance, the Youth Coalition, Population Services International, UNICEF, various USAID funded projects; all draw from her personal life experiences and the connectedness with the struggles of ordinary women and girls especially in resource-poor communities is an asset for any development program.

In January 2015, Tina decided to leave her full-time job to focus on supporting and ensuring the emergence of a strong youth-led organization in Madagascar and is now serving as the Executive Director of Youth First an organization she founded in 2011. Youth First has a strong track record in advocacy at the national and international level and has been championing youth entrepreneurship, funding 25 youth led startups since 2014, and built the capacity of more than 225 youth entrepreneurs.
