In 2021, WIA rolls out its 2030 plan, which multiplies the number of beneficiaries of the WIA54 programme by 10!
The 2021 WIA 54 class will be composed of 540 women entrepreneurs selected from 54 African countries. In a context where the major difficulty for African women entrepreneurs remains access to financial resources, the objective of the WIA 54 programme is to enable them to consolidate their achievements, but most of all, to strengthen their capacities so that they can access financial offers / present their companies to potential investors.
Thus, women entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to be trained from September 2021 to December 2021, and to be supported through a mentoring programme from January to June 2022, period in which a series of pitch roadshows will be organized by WIA and its partners.
The goal of the mentoring programme will therefore be, above all, to support women entrepreneurs in learning how to pitch and present their company, to enable them to access funding and WIA’s roadshows.
