Women are strong, women entrepreneurs are stronger!
Having to juggle everything in my personal life together with managing my business has been quite some work, but then I am impressed with myself at how well I am able to fit all I have to do within 24hours.
Being a woman entrepreneur is all about grit, showing up much more and being more than equal to the task. For me, being a woman means that I have to prove myself twice as much as a man would, where twice does not mean I am twice better.
Sometimes it means I am equal (hopefully) and other times, it still means I am less (sadly). I hope the narrative changes for Women.
Your JAMII Femmes adventure
JAMII Femmes is a big deal for me.
When I received the acceptance mail, I was overjoyed. It was just the kind of opportunity I had wished for in my life.
Going through the outline of the programme, I instantly felt the jolt of wanting to accomplish all of what was required, having to do courses within a time frame, interacting with other women entrepreneurs and sharing knowledge, it was such a great feeling.
The courses were very educative. I told the women in my cohort everytime I had the chance, that the programme was an “MBA-on-no-budget”! It had to be taken seriously and the lessons gained are too many to count.
I can not thank WIA enough!
