My journey as an entrepreneur has been a mix of successful and challenging moments. As a female entrepreneur, I have noticed working with male employees is different and you have to have a firm voice. You can’t be too affable, when you are, a form of disrespect comes with that territory.
I have had to work with male tailors, and often they don’t like to be corrected when a sewing mistake is made. The reverse is the case with the female employees.

Your JAMII Femmes adventure

The JAMII FEMMES program broaden my understanding of entrepreneurship and brought to light new knowledge. With the newly gained knowledge, I am applying it to my business and improving my business model.

Finally, please give us a quote about your motivation, your vision of Africa or your personal ambitions

I hope ultimately that Africa stops being a dumping ground for internationally used clothing and
that citizens grow to appreciate indigenous fashion designers.
