Growing up in a family where we run a small scale farm I believe that was a major factor in discovering my passion for it. I love agriculture. All I want to do is to be in that space and be able to empower as many people especially women as possible. I started my personal farm after I graduated from university in 2012, awaiting posting for youth corp with 200 pieces layers and 100 pieces broilers. There were inconsistencies here and there due to many factors. I can back fully in 2019/2020 and today, my business has grown exponentially and also impacted over 100 women. We are still growing and I know that there’s a large room to do more.
Your JAMII Femmes adventure
Getting selected into the Jamii Femmes program was a huge one for me. The courses were well taught and explained. The timeline helped self-paced learning possible also though, work demands tends to choke but with the intentionality, it was achievable. Thanks you Jamii Femmes and Honoris United Universities
